Thembisa Ntisa




Thembisa Ntisa graduated from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2016 with a Btech in Environmental Management. In 2014, she acquired ArcGIS & QGIS certificates. She did her internship in 2015 at the City of Cape Town in the Energy and Climate Change Unit: Environmental Management Department. In her position with the CCT Thembisa was involved in conducting Energy Audits, developing written reports to showcase results, suggesting energy efficiency solutions and making recommendations that could be implemented to reduce energy consumptions in various City facilities such as Hospitals, corporate buildings, swimming pools, sports stadiums, community centres, etc.


In 2017 she volunteered at GIBB Engineering & Architecture as an assistant in the Environmental Impact Assessment department where she was involved with the Public Participation Process.


In 2018 she started working at SEC as an Environmental Control Officer where she is exposed to a variety of environments from industrial to residential type developments. She also assists the EIA department with Public Participation and general support.


Her interests include love of art, being actively involved in outdoor activities such as hikes, sports (tennis & cycling) and being with family and friends.
